terrorists or freedom fighters?

I am a 33 year old male living in the United Kingdom who has travelled to many muslim countries and lived on a kibbutz in isreal I have no hate for either I saw good and bad in both . I awoke today to find that I am living in a country that is under a critical alert warning of an imminent terror attack.The information we have got so far is that a terrorist attack has been stopped and 21 people have been arrested mainley in london and a few in birmingham.The terror plot was to take liquid explosives or component parts of a bomb in hand luggage onto 6 flights leaving from the uk to america and detonate them mid flight,this would of been a celebration to some if this plot unfolded the way the terrorists wanted and a unimaginable human disaster to others.

The point I would like to make is one mans freedom fighter is another mans terrorist , example nelson mandella was considered a terrorist at one time and now is a president of a country.

I can understand why the united kingdom and america are targets for this terrorism,and I can understand why these terrorists feel that why should the innocent lives of american and british citizens be any more important than muslim lives. The foreign policy of these 2 goverments has a double standard to muslim lives,example conflicts in IRAQ , LEBANON ,PALESTINE ,CHECHNYA ,Every day hundreds of muslims are murdered, women and children and old people and we the west seem to just stand by and say well we are in a war against terrorism.SURELY people can see that the reason we have terroism is the fact that we the west are killing so many innocent muslims around the world and treating muslim countries with mistrust which in turn will breed mistrust against the west.The societys that we live in are trying to demonise these muslim countries so the general public when they see missiles and bombs hitting targets around the world just think they are killing these evil ,almost non human terrorists when in reality they are killing children and familys who just want a peacefull life and would not hurt anyone.I think that this is a fair question to ask. WHO ARE THE REAL TERRORISTS ?? is it Bush , Blair , or Binladen.

I think that we are living in such dangerous times now and we need to come together , muslims , christians ,jews and STOP THIS MADNESS.The argument that terrorists target civilians and the west does not just dosent ring true lately when we see Israel supported by america killing many civilians,UN workers,targeting ambulances, hospitals and built up commercial areas in lebanon where they know that innocent familys are huddeled up in basements with no food and water just wanting the violence to end.

One of the most worrying things is that here in the UK the last terrorist attack that was successfull was from homegrown muslim terrorists bombing the london underground killing 52 people.These terrorists are people that I could of gone to school with , played a game of football,chatted to in a park with, passed in the street.We have had british citizens that have been born and bred in the United kingdom that have took it apon themselves to go to isreal and conduct a suicide bombing in tel aviv.Is this caused by the same reason as the west demonising muslims as all terrorists,that the muslims have been brainwashed to think of all isrealis are demons.I can understand that british muslims feel under attack in this county and pushed to the fringes of society where they can be easy pickings for fundermentals to brainwash them into taking such actions.

I believe that this whole situation comes from fear, the terrorists(freedom fighters) are just scared and trying to stop the violence the west brings to there doorstep, and the west through fear is trying to stop the violence that the terrorists brings to our doorstep.Its time to ENDTHEKILLING on both sides and see eachother regardless of colour and faith as human beings just trying to survive and live in peace .

Me personally I will vote blair out just because he seems to be americas puppy dog and is standing by why innocent civillians are being slaughtered in the most horrific ways.Britain used to be a decent country that was known for there fair treatment and compassion to others.Lets find the answers to the problems that are causing this awfull and unnecessary killing to stop . violence just breeds violence.

The blame has to be put mostly on the USA,s & British foreign policy, lets put pressure on Isreal to give back the land that they have occupied and treat isreal the same as Iraq.If the world sees that the USA and britain treat every country the same then I think we are on a path to peace.

I am travelling to the usa soon with my family for my fathers birthday , now because of bushes and blairs foreing policy there is a real risk that my family and me could be killed in a terrorist attack and we would just be another statistic.My family just wants to live in peace , we are not religeous , we bare no grudges to anyone.just the same as an iraqi or lebanese family who just want the same.

Lets take a step back and try to ENDTHEKILLING.

This blog was intended to show that muslim, christian ,jew whatever , we are fundermentally all the same , we have the same emotions fear , anger, love ,hate.Lets put ourselves in the others position and think how we would feel from there point of view,which comes back to the question TERRORIST OR FREEDOM FIGHTER? whos right and wrong?
